Joyce and I went to a mortuary on Juneau and Van Buren in Milwaukee (or somewhere very close) for the medical part of our program. I was glad to have her as a travel 'buddy'. It was a long ride - we'd go by city bus as far as it went at the time - 43rd and Forest Home. Then one of our family would meet us there to take us to our homes. She was knitting/crocheting while on the bus. I was too darn tired to be that ambitious after 10 pm. She was a fun pal.

I didn't get to know Joyce very well but she was always friendly and had a smile on her face. Our prayers are
with her family and friends at this time.
