Hello Friends,

Word from Rosie that the date for the 70th birthday party will be September 1st.  Please mark your calendars so you can attend.  We hope to see a large number of you there!!  It is on Labor Day weekend which should give everyone extra days for travel if needed.

More details will come soon.  We are pretty much thinking it will be a bring your own meat and a dish to pass, but we will let you know as soon as details are firmed up!! 

Please let any one of us know if you have any questions or suggestions.

I have already heard that some of you may not be able to make this date.  We certainly will miss you and hope that you can attend luncheons.  It was hard to find a date when we could  reserve the picnic shelter we wanted and our thought was maybe it would be cooler by then too.  Hope to see you sometime soon!
