Dear Kaaren, We were such close friends; you even stood up for my wedding. I did my best to always help you in any way I could. I still remember my first plane trip to Buffalo to visit you. That was so exciting! Over the years both of our lives were filled normal stresses and those not so normal. We continued to keep in touch through letters, phone calls, e-mail and an occasional dinner here and there. I feel so awful about the cards you were dealt in life; it was not fair at all. Now, all I can do is wish you peace; you certainly deserve it. I will miss you forever.
